QRS are committed to protecting your personal information. QRS has the Market Research Society’s Fair Data certification, you can trust that we will manage and treat your personal data with respect. We will collect, store, and manage it in an unbiased and secure way. We will only use your data for purposes that we have informed you about. We will always be transparent about the personal data we collect and how we use it.
We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely and in accordance with all applicable Data Protection legislation. QRS has Cyber Essentials Plus certification and your data will only ever be stored in an encrypted state.
All surveys are conducted in compliance with EU regulations about the handling of personal data (DPA 2018 & GDPR), The MRS Code of Conduct and ESOMAR guidelines. The information you fill out will only be used for market research purposes and your personal details will never be shared without your express permission.

Will my personal data or contact details be passed on to a third party?
QRS Market Research is a Market Research Society Company Partner and is registered with the ICO as a Data Controller. Your personal details will never be shared with another party unless you give us your informed consent.
What about GDPR and the DPA 2018?
QRS are members of the Market Research Society and registered as Data Controllers with the ICO. We are ISO accredited to 9001 and 20252 standards. We operate in full adherence to the regulations of GDPR and the DPA 2018.
What types of subjects will I be asked about?
We conduct research for a variety of organisations including Government Departments, Local Authorities, Universities, Financial Organisations, and a wide range of public and private businesses.
All these organisations share the same need for finding out what people think so that they can improve their level of knowledge, products, services for the future. Your involvement can make a positive impact for the wider community going forward.
What types of research will I be asked to undertake?
Most of the research studies we undertake are for online or telephone surveys, 1-2-1 interviews and focus groups (both f2f and online). You may also be asked to participate in other forms of research on occasions.
We will always try and only contact you for research which we believe you are eligible to undertake using the information you supplied when you signed up to the community. There may be occasions when we have to ask you some screening questions to determine your eligibility, but this will only ever take a maximum of a couple of minutes.
Why did you want so much information when I signed up?
Some of the information we asked for is basic mandatory information e.g. contact information and basic details about you and your current job role and responsibilities. Other information is voluntary but gives us a greater chance of only contacting you to take part in research that is relevant.
It is also important that we are able to validate the business professionals that sign up the community. QRS prides itself on delivering quality research to our clients.
We will always try and only contact you for research which we believe you are eligible to undertake using the information you supplied when you signed up to the community. How often will you contact me?
This may vary but we do not anticipate contacting you more than 3 or 4 times a year.
How will I receive payment?
Payment will normally be made via a bank transfer, Amazon vouchers, High street vouchers or Charity donations. Payment method will always be explained up front at the start of a project.
If you are offered but unable to receive a cash payment then we will always be willing to donate the money to a mutually agreed charity on your behalf.
Why do I have to provide my bank details every time I request a cash transfer?
We do not store you bank account information for longer than is necessary.
What if I have a problem within a survey?
If you experience any problems with a survey or with the login to your personal account, please send an e-mail to us. Please include a screen dump or a copy of any error messages plus your operating system and browser. Please email: qrspc@qrs-research.com.
I’ve lost my login details, what can I do?
If you forget your password then you can click on the Forgotten Password option at the community login page. If you have forgotten your username or have any other issue then please email: qrspc@qrs-research.com
How do I update my information?
To update your information, simply log in to your account, and click on the ‘membership details’ page. If you move roles, company, industry or your responsibilities change it will be helpful if you keep this information up to date so that we can invite you to take part in research that we feel is relevant.
How do I remove myself from the Community?
We will be sad to see you go but if you don’t want to be a member of the QRS Professionals Community any longer you can log on to your personal account and click on “terminate membership”. Your membership will then end immediately.
